AFTER FOURTEEN: ROAD(bu)SHOW 2.

In our 2nd part of presentations review we take a look back to the end of part 1 by mentioning two important events: Delhi Film Days with which we are preparing for continuing to cooperate at the end of January. Secondly mentioning Izmir Film Festival where Kockaember (Cubeman) was representing us, even so it did not win any award, we managed to get into the Turkish buzz.

During the November spring, we returned to Jerevan’s Rolan Bykov Film Festival. After our debut last year, this time it was Balázs Simonyi and Zoltán Vozó Végh represented us with great success.

On the same week happened in Bali: From Indonesia to Hungary and Back: An excitingly creative journey with award-winning Hungarian short films and an amusing documentary. The event took place at Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center as a side event of World Conference on Creative Economy. Admission is free. Supported by BUSHO. Opening by HE Judit Pach, Ambassador of Hungary to Indonesia and Endah Wahyu Sulistianti, Deputy Head of Indonesia Agency for Creative Economy, and the BuSho program was Chuchotage by Barnabás Tóth / Best Game Ever by Kristóf Deák / Mermaids and Rhinos by Viktória Traub.

We return to America at the end of November, right before the opening of the entry for 15th BuSho. A selection of shorts from the last decade and a half will be presented on the Hungarian Congress of Cleveland.

Last but not least, Charlotte Symmons member of the BuSho team will represent us as member of the jury in Euroshorts Festival of Gdansk, North Poland. Our old friend Przemek informed us, when we have offered Last Call and Take Me Please to show, that: „Wonderful choice, because the Siege and Wonderpussy are in our International Contest.”

Adventures around the globe still to come in 2019, we are preparing for a one-week youth workshop in Slovenia by February, the focus will be on Hungary in Go Short Festival in Holland, Figari Film Festival in Sardine requested us to present a jury member early summer, so our schedule will be tight, but let’s just focus on the below date now: the entry platform for BuSho 15 is opening up shortly, so keep it up and watch out for news to come.
